FROM HAY, STICKS AND BRICKS
FROM HAY, sticks and bricks – the artwork is constructed of photos of a child printed on plexiglas as three sculptural pieces, also sharing qualities of a painting. The installation explores the concept of Home as a place where the bringing up of the child takes place and its meaning as a mental space.
BUNCHES of hay and sticks and a brick make an allusion to the old fairy tail, and on the other hand to the foundations of a home; the stronger materials that are used to build up a home, the more solidly built is child’s future life.
Photo on plexiglass, metal, hay, sticks, brick.
