The Horizon painting series contains spatial and atmospheric memories of seascapes that I have been observing while sailing in the Baltic Sea. In the layered painting process, the landscape is transformed into a rhythmic dialogue of color surfaces, the language of painting. The works lie somewhere between abstract and representational painting.
