The Horizon painting series contains spatial memories of seascapes that I have had the pleasure of observing while sailing in the Baltic Sea. In the layered painting process, the landscape is transformed into a rhythmic dialogue of color surfaces, the language of painting. The spatial work is positioned somewhere between the abstract and the representational.
